Chatbox rules

1. Helping comes first. You may discuss general topics, but helping takes top priority.
2. Be nice. No flaming (fighting, hating on people/races, etc.) This includes websites/chats.
3. Be appropriate. Do not swear or be inappropriate in the chat. This also includes smilie combinations.
4. No advertising. Only links accepted are links to help people or YouTube videos (not your own) or funny pictures.
5. No bad subjects. Includes flirting, hacking discussion/threats, or debates on religion.
6. No impersonating. Do not say "I'm a help mod" or "I'm xat staff" when you are not.
7. Do not ask to be a higher rank. This includes asking for mods to vote for you to be member.
8. English only. Speaking non-english languages will result in a boot to your appropriate help language (if available), and possibly a ban.
9. No begging/trading/betting. Do NOT ask for xats/days/powers, and you may trade in trade. Betting is also not allowed.
10. No spamming. Also includes flooding.
11. Don't abuse boot. Only boot users to Trade , Yardim, Ayuda , Aiuti , Ajuda , or any other foreign Help/Trade chat. Boots to "general chatting" groups are not permitted, example Flirt.
12. No lying. Do not make a fake screenshot / report false info to any mods or owners on Help. Also do not give "false help", example if a user asks for help you can't purposely give false information.
13. Ask xat-related questions. Purposely asking for help with non-xat questions is not permitted.
14. Rules apply EVERYWHERE. All rules apply on your name, your status, on doodle, and your homepage (content on homepages or any links must be appropriate). Links in your name / status are ok aslong as you don't tell people to click them in the chat.
15. Smiles in name. You can not have more than 6 smilies in your name (not including glow, hat, or other smilies that do not "show"). Also, you can not have more than one MIST effect in your name, so (mist) is fine but (mist#mist#mist#mist#mist) is bad.
16. No trolling. Do not purposely "troll" the helpers. Read up about what this means HERE.
NOTE: If you engage in any phishing scams, abuse or teach any user of any major xat glitches, or repeatedly break any other rule, you will be forever banned, without warning.

Staff Rules

1. Do not ban, kick, make a member or a guest without a valid reason (might not have to be in reason box).
2. If a member is breaking rules, make them a guest.
3. Do not unban somebody unless it was unfair (and you witnessed), or if it was accidental ban.
4. Users asking for help can be banned, but please give more warnings as they might not know this chat has rules.
5. If 5 mods agree on a member, contact the main owner, and the user will be membered shortly.
6. Do not use tempmem/hush please.
7. Please set a good image for Help, even on other chats! See here for details on this.
8. If you are inactive or don't help you will be demoted.
9. Do not ban over 10 hours.
|New| 10. If a user speaks a language other than English, boot to the corresponding help chat. If you do not have the boot power, kick/ban with the chat link as the reason.

Recommended Staff Ban Times

Fbomb / Racism - 10
Most swears - 4-10
Flame - 6-10
Scamming/phishing - 10 hour ban (owners ban forever IF THERE'S PROOF screens dont count)
Spamming - small like "akbsakjdnsd" - 1
Large spam (filling up the page) - 6-10
SS - kick or ban 1 hour
Foreign - boot/ban (if you don't have boot then PC saying "xat.com/ayuda < espanol, xat.com/help< ingles" and they'll get the message)
Too many smilies in name - kick, if continues then ban
User confessing to unbanning - 10
